The Wings of Hope Foundation was created in 1996 in memory of
Brian Christopher Lanier. Its goal is to help the many abused,
neglected, and abandoned children who are living in residential homes.
These children have been removed from their parents’ home,
have lived in numerous foster homes, or have been homeless because
they saw running away as their safest option.
Although government funding does provide some assistance for these
children, it doesn’t supply all the resources they need to
live safely in a loving and caring environment. Our goal is to help
close that gap.
Some important things for you to know about Wings of Hope are:
- We give 100% of all funds raised directly to providing
help for the children, operating expenses are paid only with
donor-designated contributions
- No salaries or compensations are given to any officers
or board members – all work is done through the generosity
of family and friends
- We specify exactly how our donation is to be used and
follow up to ensure the outcome
- We are a 50l(c)3 organization so all donations are tax-deductible
We invite you to find out more about our work and our story of turning
tragedy into hope. And on behalf of the many children that
have been and will be helped through Wings of Hope, we thank you. |
